we woke up rather early and walked down to the street for breakfast, just GOM and I, the rest preferred to stay back and cooked thier breakfasy instead. I always love breakfast, especially big breakfast, i could die for it.

Morning was cold, like..duhhhh, it was winter of course it was cold right? We didn't dressed up for it and was too lazy to go back just get a jacket. Therefore instead of a slow walk along the street to enjoy the sea breeze like we've intended to and to find a nice cafe for breakfast, we simply settled for the nearest one.

This place is call the house of pancake, or something similar...argh, u know i'm not good at names!

The best thing i love about Aussie is the freash bacons they serve in the restaurant, super yummilicious. AFter breakfast, we quickly walked back and get ready. I'm a sucker for themeparks!

YEAY! Dreamworld! pictures were taken in the evening which means the lighting aint too good and i feeeeeeel so sad because i don't have a nice picture in the front exit, this is the best i can have. argh! stupid tiah didn't know how to use a camera,they are all totally out of focus!

It was 11am in the morning and the temperature feels just right! Sunny, windy and not cold at all.

The mega Giant Drop, i didn't dare to go back i freaking don't like the feeling of free dropping. It was 120m in height ok!#@#$!@%#%

We went back to shower and rest a bit before heading out for dinner. Our initial plan was Hooters but it was understand renovation, arggghhh!! so we met up with Shawn's friend somewhere quite outskirt, took us awhile to reach. Had pasta pizza for dinner and headed back to the apartment.

Shawn and I went down to the street for a walk, IT WAS FREEZING AT NIGHT and empty! It was only 10pm. WE spotted quite a number of store that sell nothing but alcohol and cigarette, they call it bottle shops. they were so many types of beer and wines and liquor! we bought 5 different ones each night.

2012 new year resolution

It's the time of the year again, 2012 resolution.

I don't have the habit to jot down my new year's resolution, i usually keep them in my head and never properly lay them down in a piece of paper. This year, I've decided to do so, just to see by the end of 2012, have i achieve most of them.

so here it goes....

In year 2012, I want to..

1. Eat fruits everyday or at least make it a habit to eat regularly.

2. Loose weight, i'm currently 52kg, i'm targeting to loose about 4kg.

3. Read 5 books, about 1 book every 2.4 months.

4. Stop complaining about GOM, try to be less demanding.

5. shop less, only go shopping once every 3 months. Stop buying nonsense, unless things.

I know i have too many bad habits to get rid off, but baby steps, I don't want to rush into everything and stress up myself.

For 2012, these should be good, and it's not easy!! Especially number 5.

Wyndham Apartment -Surfers Paradise

Travelling with these bunch of friends of mine, means budget travelling. They will find all sorts of ways to get the cheapest tickets, cheapest apartment and cheapest airfares. I think I've spend less than RM2.5K for the whole trip, excluding the money GOM paid for dinners ( we had expensive dinners, so...poor him, luckily he squeezed some cash out from the ONLY casino in GoldCoast)

As mentioned, budget trip, so i didn't have high hopes on the accommodation, since KL was the one who booked for us! it was only freaking RM500 per head for 4 nights, and we were upgraded.

when we checked in, i certainly never expected to see this,

beautifully decorated with turquoise colour interior, with cozy light as well.

or this...kitchen with complete utensils, you name it they have it in the cupboard. There was a dish washer as well! wow.....

and then, the bedroom...

so this is the balcony, super huge one! connecting the bedroom and living room...it's so nice but no one bother to stay outside too long, because it's freaking cold lo..

the bathroom, it's so cozy that we could stay inside forever..

so..thats all, i didn't take much pictures of the place. REGRET..*sulk* because it was so beautiful, cozy and nice..even the building itself gives a wow factor from the outside. i'm not kidding..

then there were lots of cage-less wallabies and kangaroos! i went crazy, i was about to scream in excitement. Even with their poo-poo scattering all over the place, i still find them uber cute and almost refuse to leave the place. Until shawn had to literally dragged me out.

and then the typical photo booth at the exit, most people would pay to take a picture with the koala, but i didn't. I went to take with baby crocodile instead, because i find it less common *faints* I swear i have a soft copy of the picture, but i didn't know where is it now. FML

With that ended our tour to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. We spent one whole freaking day in that park and by the time we left it was almost dinner time already.

We checked in to our apartment at Surfer's Paradise, Wyndham, the place was gorgeous~~!! more piccies on that in another post, i promise!

After freshen up a bit, GOM's friend, picked us up and went for ribs! Yummilicious...i didn't bring my camera out because that thing is hopeless at night without external flash, therefore i didn't bother to carry it with me. We had a wonderful dinner and walked around the craft market a while, AND THE WEATHER WAS FREAKING COLD..my bones were frozen and i swear if someone bump harder into me, i'll turn in dust and ashes...alright, i'm crapping.

But seriously, I thought Gold Coast isn't cold in winter?!

Gold Coast -day1 (part1)

I know it's super outdated, but i thought i should spend some time to at least jot down my 1st trip with GOM to GoldCoast in July 2011.

Like most people did, we bought our flight tickets almost 10 months earlier and we got it for pretty cheap *proud face*. About RM600+ return inclusive of everything.

It was a short trip, only 5 days 4 nights, could have gone for longer. *stab myself*.

Once we'd arrived Coolangatta Airport, we quickly get ourselves rental cars so we can have breakfast, was starving like crap! Before that, i must tell this, the plane ride was HORRIBLE, the plane was packed with Australians and babies! kids were running around and crying whole freaking night! I admit i do like kids but i was about to throw them out of the plane. The worse yet to come, the Australian girl who sat next to me, took of her boots and her socks smelled like dead fish...HOLY SHIT.....i felt like dying!

anyway, back to the car rental, we had a slight hiccup but it was all right at the end, we get our cars and breakfast in time.

we went to this cafe near Currumbin, called The White Elephant *i think, don't quite remember the name*

Breakfast is always my favourite of the day.

After breakfast, off we go to our 1st park of the trip. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.

What Women Want

I read this from somewhere and find it quite interesting,

Contrary to popular stereotypes, women don't need expensive handbags or diamond rings from their loved one to be happy. Yes, we like material things but it's the small gestures and habits that create a more lasting and loving impression.

1. No secrets

Share your secrets with your girl. It shows her that you trust her and you're opening up to her. Whether it's an embarrassing one or your personal wishes, we won't judge you. In fact, we think it's sweet when a guy is brave enough to admit something that only his bestfriends know (or no one at all!).

2. Be her pillar of strength

Most modern women are independent and ambition-driven, but that doesn't mean we're strong 24/7. Be there when she's feeling down, make her believe in herself when her self-confidence hits rock bottom, and she'll do the same to you.

3. Surprise her

You don't need to buy a Louis Vuitton or Prada bag to make your woman happy. Little surprises out of the blue will gain you plus points and a 100-watt smile from her. Flowers are available all year round, not only on her birthday or anniversaries. If you know she loves cute things, get her a small stuffed toy, or if she likes a certain beauty brand, get her a perfume or body care products.

4. Spare time for her

Being young and ambitious, a lot of us just concentrate on work or parties all the time, and we tend to abandon our loved one. Your other half should be the most beautiful girl in the world to you, and let her know that - often! A lot of guys constantly compliment other girls but not the one who's actually next to them!

10. Share your feelings

If you miss her, let her know. Tell her how you feel about her - the 'I love you's' should be expressed more often than just during your anniversary.

11. Stand up for her

If anyone says anything bad about your girl or makes fun of her, don't be a jerk and just agree or laugh along. You should have her back and stand up for her in such situations.

12. Bring her shopping

Again, we don't mean you should max out your credit cards by bringing us to expensive, high-end stores. Monthly or bi-monthly trips to high street stores like Topshop or Forever 21, or even stand-alone clothing boutiques have affordable dresses that we love!

13. Be responsible

Pay the bills on time, don't be late to dinner dates, and help your loved one out in household matters. Guys, it's not okay to make your woman wait hours for you or on you.

14. Be more adventurous...in bed

Most of the women we conducted the survey with exclaimed that their other halves are not making enough effort in bed. If you're doing the same thing over and over again, your woman will slowly feel sexually disconnected from you, so be more adventurous and try out some new positions - after all, sex is healthy for you!

15. Chivalry is not dead

Women woud like to believe that chivalry still exists among this generation of men. Be a gentleman and hold the door open for your lady, open your car door for her, or take her hand when crossing the street. This shows that you care for her wellbeing and comfort.

16. Attention

Be attentive to your woman's needs and emotions. If she has had a tough day at work, let her rest and don't expect her to still cook dinner for you while you just sit around and watch TV. If she looks unhappy, ask her what's the matter, talk to her, or give her a hug.

17. Hang out with her friends

Make the effort to get to know her friends and be nice to them. Some guys don't think it's important to hang out with his girl's friends, but see it as a way to get to know your girl better (friends can give an insight about her character as well!) and, it's always good to have her friends on your side!

18. Be honest

The truth can hurt, but it's always best to be honest. If you want to hang out with your friends, then tell her instead of doing it behind her back (a lot of guys will give the excuse of being busy with 'work' rather than admit he's with his friends!). Or if something's bothering you, then let your girl know. A relationship can only survive when there's no communication barrier between a couple.

19. Keep your promises

Women dislike guys who are 'All Talk, No Action'. If you promised to bring her out on a date, or even small things like calling her, make sure you do it. When you keep on forgetting, you're creating the impression that you're irresponsible and she can't depend on you to keep your word.

20. She should be a priority

A girl doesn't want to be an option, she wants to be a priority. A happy relationship exists when two people make each other a priority, equally. This means being considerate, having respect and making her an important aspect of your life.

Nobody's perfect but if you try to follow these 20 steps, you will definitely make your woman happy and your relationship stronger. Needless to say, it works both ways, so girls, make sure you treat your men well, too!

Anyway, i was supposed to design an email invitation for the event but i couldn't find pictures of bees which i like from the internet, so i drew them...

Monday- too much coffee

I drank too much coffee today, I am feeling a bit dizzy, a bit nausea..feeling really horrible now.

Let's see what's i've been up to lately,

1. Ran 10km in Penang Birdge marathon, not as tired as last year, but year after year i told myself not to sign up for the run simply because i don't like waking up at 4 in morning, yet YT always lure me into it. I blame her for that!

2. Be emcee for the 1st time in my company's annual dinner, i freaked out when i was appointed to host the event. I've been bugging the chairman to find a replacement, but he insisted that i should be the one. No choice, i ate my own fear and did it. It was way better than I've expected, thank goodness!

3. Got my 1st christmas pressie from YT, it is confessions of a concealaholic by Benifits. I've been wanting this for a very very very long time, but i didn't get it because it was too pricey. Joy joy joy..

4. Sekeping Serendah short weekend getaway with friends. Duncan suggested that we should spend a short weekend together before 2011 ends. Sim and I will go down to KL together and meet up with the rest, in December.

5. Bought Shawn a GAP cotton hoodie which he wanted it for quite awhile, it's his christmas pressie.

my hair is getting uglier, i'm thinking to do something about it before Chritsmas comes, should i cut it shorter again? or just touchup my colour?

btw, i can't decide what i should get for Christmas, Shawn is being practical again, he said i should choose my own pressie and he'll pay for it. Of course, with a budget la!

I have a feeling that once you have short hair, you tends to go shorter each time. I chopped off my super long hair because i didn't like the curls of the permanent perms.A couple of months, I cut my hair again..it's addictive.

It's not very short, but i like it, my head feels light.

I got really lazy these days, the only time I'm free, I'm too tired to do anything. I totally feel it when Hun said she is exhasuted because she has been going out everynight and have no time to stay home and do nothing.

Yeah! thats how i feel now, sometimes i wish i don't have plans but to just go home and read my book in bed and doze off.

Yesterday I was happy because I STAYED HOME! goodness, that felt super duper good, it's like having to go shopping with a credit card with no limit.

Sometime to myself

Shawn and I had breakfast at Oldtown today, which is very very rare, because he don't do breakfast. Unless special occasion like he'd done something bad and to make up to me, he brings me for breakfast.

Anyway, today's different, he had an early flight to KL to attend his cousin's wedding. I picked him up from his house and send him off to the airport at 11am. Then i came home to rest because heading out again.

I picked up Yeeting and YungMing for lunch before sending them off to the airport, yes! Twice in a day. They are going to "Sawadeekap land" to celebrate their one year anniversary (married). Time flies, can you believe it ? My babe has been married for a year already.

After that i went to do some groceries shopping at Giant. Oh, before that, let me comment a bit on litter bugs. Giant Bayan Baru has an open space car park and i noticed rubbish were everywhere, the most were on the walk way. These people are simply brainless!! I don't these people, is it that difficult to throw your rubbish into the designated bins? Such a simple task and they can't do it right!!

I hate it.

Back to my shopping, I tends to spend a lot of money on nonsense things like this,

I can't help it, i must get it for Yeeting, it reminds me of her husband YUNGMING! hahaha!

I also bought chinese herbs soup pack. These packs are easy to cook, throw whatever that is in the pack into the slow cooker, put in enough amount of meat, usually we'll put in pork or chicken.

Cook about 3 hours and my dinner is served. It's so delicious and so simple to cook. I have to confess, i can't cook, but there are a lot of ready packed ingredients in the shops which makes cooking way more simpler than i can imagine.

While waiting for the soup to be ready, i made bracelet. I made one similar one for Sheena years back and her friend love it so much that she had to make me remade it for her.

Things in my bathroom and dressing table

- 3 shower gels

- 3 body scrubs

- 4 shampoos

- 1 hair conditioner

On the other side of my bathroom, I have,

- 3 facial cleansers

- 1 facial scrubs

- 1 facial exfoliator

- 1 makeup remover

- 1 nose mask

- 1 toothpaste

- 2 tooth brushes

- 1 contact lens solution

On my dressing table, not really a typical dressing table, i only have my mirror on my side table where i put my stuffs on it. My makeups are inside the drawers.

I have,

- 1 toner

- 1 moisturizer

- 1 refining cream

- 1 recovering cream for my pimple scars, I'm prone to scars and they never go away after gazillion of years

- 1 sunblock

- 1 eye cream for night, it's not in the picture because I've forgotten

for my hair, I have,

- 1 hair colour protection toner

- 3 hair serums

- 1 heat protection spray

apart from all that, i also have tones of masks, sunblocks for body, hair mousses, body lotions and body powder and etc..gosh, if i hadn't jotted down what i have, i didn't know i use so many things daily and worse they're increasing. For face alone, i have more than 10 products...wow!

When it comes my hair, i have not only serums and protection solutions, i also blow and curl my hair everyday, as well as do mask and treatments once in a while. What about my nails? gosshh..i better not tell.

It's so troublesome to be a woman!

As for a man, he needs,
- 1 soap for hair, face, and body.

Basketball tournament at work

I got up really early today and checked in to work at 645am! I had an early meeting with SanJose designer, i bet this is common when we have to work with US counterpart, it's either they stay back late or we checked in early for meeting. Time zone difference sucks!

Apart from having a super duper early meeting, today Altera has its in house basketball tournament after work, I had to stay back to help out because I am the committee. The game started on time at 530pm, we had the PA system, tables, chairs and digital scoreboard set up by then.

Today was fun, I'd learned how to write the score cards and crashed course on the game rules plus some hand signs from the referees. I had my dinner by the court, Alan, the chairman bought us dinner and tong sui, so nice of him.

Everything went smoothly and i left a bit earlier because i was too tired already. Shawn came over and we watched TV plus fight a bit, which is very normal. As long as both of us are tired, we fight.

so yeah, that's my day, pretty boring heh? I gotta catch some sleep now or else my boss will find me looking like zombie again. Yes, he always comment that i look like i don't have enough sleep, which is half true, the other half is because i never put make up *.*

oh!! i must jot this down, i sent my car to wash after more than a year. I havent washed my car ever since i started dating Shawn, or even earlier than that. It's weird that the car never seems to be too dirty, except that it has ants invasion a couple of weeks ago because i parked my car under the trees.

Finally, one year with my grumpy old man

Last weekend we celebrated our 1st year anniversary together. This year feels so long, but I'm glad everything 's good now. We never fought as much as we did, I don't even remember when was the last time we had a real fight!

Things were different back then, I was paranoia . I didn't trust him at all, I questioned everything single thing he did, and there was no peace in me. I don't have the confidence that I used to have in the relationship anymore, i constantly wanted to give up and so did he. I was surprised we didn't end up going on our separate ways.

This relationship didn't start off as most people would called it, honeymoon period. We spent our time fighting over the phones, ignoring each other and sending emails on how we are not meant to be with each other and the list goes on. I always believe that something had put us together, or else we won't had lasted this long.

Phew....I'm glad it's over.

I enjoy his company more than ever now, and that he compromises and shows me that he cares for me a lot.

So, back to the one year celebration. He brought to the Hardrock hotel, and we checked in as KIng's club! It was awesome possum. We checked in from the private lounge and they served us welcome drinks.

apart from that, they also upgraded our room to with balcony.

After settled down with our bags and freshen up a bit, we went right straight to King's lounge for tea break.

The place was cozy and the staffs were super super friendly! they know everyone's name and they make sure we remember theirs too.

shawn was more excited than me. because he gets to have free flow happy juice in the lounge.

drinks were served in the fridge and we're allowed to have any of them from 7am -11pm everyday.

they served all types of desserts during tea break. we drank and ate so much that we had to skipped lunch.

after teabreak, we went to the pool to chilled and play with the float, not forgetting the slide as well. We acted like a kids!

At 6pm, we went back to King's lounge for cocktail party, we had freelfow cocktails and some finger food. This time we sat outside at the balcony so we can enjoy the evening breeze.

They served dimsums and they were yummilicious! Again, we ate too much that we had to skipped dinner.

I ordered a few cocktails and they all tasted like antibiotics, i chucked them to Shawn. hehehe!

On the same night itself, Hardrock was having foam party by the pool and it's free for all in house guests.

The party started from 7pm -12am. From the lounge, we heard the happening noise of the party. Being a little tipsy, both of us went down to the party happily. It was a great experience, at least, when someone asked what i did for my 1st year anniversary, i can proudly tell her that i went for a foam party.

After the party, both of us were so exhausted that we slept through the night and only woke up for supper.

On the next day, we had a long, filling breakfast at the hotel.Then, checked-out at 130pm.

I made him a simple small card.

we went shopping at the RockShop after breakfast and shawn bought each of us a T-shirt. I always think that Hardrock T-shirts are over priced!

Downloaded this new app called Blogsy for iPad, it is basically a tool to blog from iPad.I'm in the middle of exploring it, looks like it's much easier and definitely cooler to blog from the web, especially on the pictures/videos insertion, I can link my Flickr account and simply drag and paste my photos into my post. How cool can that be?

Time management: 25 hours per day & Shawn came back from Bangkok

After such a long weekend, I was suffering from holiday hangover. Dragged myself out of bed in the morning, and darn it! It had to rain and the weather was too nice and cooling, made it even harder for me to accept the fact that i had to go to work.

I was late for work, as usual =.= i only reach office early when i have 8am meeting. Anyway, today is the 1st day of my 2 days soft skill training, time management: 25 hours per day.

In the training, we were given a lots of opportunity to reflect on ourselves, our life's goals and how are we supposed to achieve that. A lot of questions were asked, and i noticed there were a lot of standard answers, engineers are not creative at all!

For example, "what are your natural and gifted talents?" there were a lot of typical answers like these;

" I'm good at troubleshooting and fast learner"

" I can be very friendly to colleagues and good at communications"

...............it's so boringgggggggg! why must they linked everything to work? On the other hand, mine was

" I'm talented and gifted in arts and design"

I've been to a lot of soft skill training throughout my 4 years of working, and i often find myself thinking very differently from my colleagues. I have all sorts of ideas and risking solutions which engineers don't like it. Simply because engineers are not risk taker, they do things according to simulation result and datas.

Apart from having to bear with less creative colleagues, I really enjoy what I'm doing. I am proud to say that i love my job!

Oh, have i told you i love trainings? Not because i get to learn something new,maybe a little, partially i guess, but the main reason is i get to off work ON TIME! therefore i left office at 515pm today, picked up shawn from the airport. Yeah, he went to Bangkok with his friends for 6 freaking nights, i don't know what he did there, let not think nor talk about it, so yeah, picked him up and went for Japanese for dinner.

The best thing when a friend or family or boyfriend came back from vacation are souvenirs! and guess what he got me this time?!

Yeap! They are Plants Vs. Zombies characters! LOVE EVERY BITS OF THEM!

I was playing around with them while driving. Please don't do that, it's dangerous! Only skillful driver like me can do it.

The 1st thing i did when i reached home is to arrange them together with my other bed members. One big family!

After dinner, I drop him back home and came home early, since both of us are so exhausted already. I'm glad he's finally back :)

Dad is still in Tibet/China, I hope he is having maximum fun. It's good to be retired with enough wealth and health to enjoy the later part of life, dad set a very good example to us! He is fit, free and with enough money to do whatever he likes, he has no commitments anymore and his daughters are out making their own livings.

I just got back from a superb vacation, thought it was a pretty short one, only 4 days but I'd had a really good time! (partially i am a freak for theme parks).

I just got back from GoldCoast a few weeks ago!!!!

I was only gone for a week and work had been piling up like crazy! Not just mine, but Shawn's as well, both of us has been spending day and night trying to set everything on par again ...*tsk tsk* not too good.

Don't you just love Friday? It means saturday is coming and it's my favourite day of the week!

Shawn brought me out for dinner tonight, instead of rushing for movie+dinner like we used to do, we settled for dinner only, it was too rush since he has to drop me home before 10pm. We had Italian pizza at our favourite restaurant in Pulau Tikus, I love the place!

It's been 6 months, and everything seems to be better now. It was a very very very very, i repeat, very very bumpy start, we managed to pulled through. It was like one wave comes after another, there were always problems, we were fighting every week!

It was terrible, the personality clashes was worse than we've expected. I was unhappy for things he thought it was alright and he wasn't happy because i was too sticky and etc.

Past few months were days were shouted at each other, and saying sorry on the next day. It was really tiring, i didn't expect i could take it, but YES, we accepted each other's flaws and everything is in place now. I'm glad and proud to say, I've finally grown up and be mature.

Like the wise man says, there is no perfection, only satisfaction with what life has to offer. It's a blessing i have him with me :)

Can you hear me screaming already? Prawn is back.......weeee! He was gone to Taipei for 6 days and boy, it felt it 6 years. i'm glad he is finally back.

On the other hand, i've finally changed my cellphone strap. The loyal metal chain tassel has been replaced with my newest design. I love how it turned out to be a bit of vintage-ish yet cute, i;ve put a picture of a ribbon bow flats thats because i wore flats 90% of the time and most of my flats has ribbon bows...

Quiet weekends

This is so out of the blue, i have nothing to write, not much updates in my life. It has been wakeup-goingtowork-gohome-zzz days. it's so boring...so i thought i should do something about, i took out my sewing machine, wanted to start a quilt project only to realize it has spoilt! *sobs*

Ever since i've started my new job, as McDonald says it '' I'm lovin it"!! I have to admit that workload is definitely heavier, but the satisfaction in me keeps me going. If you wake up every morning, hoping you don't have to go to work, then it's time for you to change your job! agree?

I mean, you don't have to love your job everyday, but at least once in while you have the urge to go work. or else, your life is doomed!

Alrights, no more boring job-talk!

Last week was terrible, luckily i have sim and duncan and a bunch of friends to filled in my time, or else i would rot at home. Prawn has gone to Taipei, and on top of that, E-ting went for her honeymoon in Europe..both people that i hang out a lot with were away, worse of all, ChinaPong was away in NZ for her friend's wedding. Everyone is going for holidays but me :(

i was telling myself how bad that could be right? I will just make a list of things to do ...

but but but but but...it was miserable!!!!

On sunday, my housemate found me lying on bed growing mushrooms, she took a few and made ABC soups for me, so nice~~!! After a few hours, she saw ze-mushrooms on me has turned into cheesy mushrooms, and she made cheese baked mushroom rice...*i'm crapping*

In a nut shell, i rotted at home whole friggin day!

Thank God eting came back and we hanged out in egate starbucks at night. She bought my 2 month belated birthday pressie from London, it's a lavender/pink Radley purse..OMG OMG~! i love it so much because it has a doggie chasing bumble bees..

I joined e-ting at MOIS for her after wedding party and it was freaking fun! We've been besties for as long as I've known but never once I went clubbing with her! she can't drink and nothing in the club attracts her since she's married, hahaahaha!! ok, i'm joking, she will kill me !

But it's true that i never went clubbing with her, even though she goes to the club almost every week during her studies in Aussie, but yes, i find it weird to have her walked into a club with me. Anyhow, that night was her special night, and i was too tipsy to think of anything, in additional with her ever-so-energetic friends, i totally forgot about the awkwardness.

They went off earlier for supper, so i joined my friends at the other corner of MOIS and bumped into Greg, who was replacing his friend as photographer for the club, pictures all credit to him. Also we bumped into Victor and his friends too!!

I drove home earlier, because that naughty crazy shawn decided to piss me off! i don't have the mood to continue so i went home. It was a stupid fight, he was at Zenzi bar and our business is not related in any form, but he decided to send me unreasonable texts and felt sorry on the next day.

It was some stupid fight, i made him buy me ice-cream after that.

It's nice to have Duncan back in Penang again, because he will always dragged sim out to commit crimes! You know how hard for me to ask sim our or not?!!? He is always busy or lazy..

We had a blast on Friday night, though it's only the 4 of us, someone FFK and never tell earlier or at least answer our calls, i hate it that we had to keep guessing if he is coming or not.

oh well...

Prawn has always been reluctant to join my friends, because he couldn't speak chinese but i believe this time he mixed well with sim and duncan...because he joined them to bully me. It's weird how certain people can be friends for years and still be good friends, eventhought we've been living apart for awhile. True good friends are gems in life, i'm lucky i have a few.

Goodbye, grandma

We were ready to say goodbye when grandma was admitted to hospital every now and then, we knew her time was up, but when the time comes, it was really hard.

I was heartbroken whenever i went to the hospital to see her, she barely spoke anything because she was constantly in great pain. Despite being so uncomfortable, she smiled whenever we went to see her. She was tough, very tough, just like mommy.

and a week later...

daddy texted , i almost broke down when i knew grandma was gone. I was lost, blank in mind. I didn't have the chance to say goodbye, when i saw her one last time in her coffin, i couldn't hold my tears anymore.

My farewell party

Last friday marked my last day at Spansion, today, i'm blogging from my new company. Yes, I'm currently working in Altera.

I never thought i would have the courage to resign, it's not easy ok! especially when i'm so comfortable and happy. But we're human being, we always wanted something better, and won't mind the risk.

Throughout my 3 years in Spansion, I've grew so much, met tones of great people and made a few good friends. Life has been serving me quite well, I'm always very lucky in everything, always met the right person at the right time, do the right thing when there are opportunities.

I supposed the most unforgettable event was the mega-retrenchment whereby 70% of employees was forced to leave. I never cried easily in public but that time, i couldn't help myself...i bursted into tears when i had to see my colleagues leave.

I decided to hold onto it when the company's was at its lowest point, ironically,i chose to leave when it's doing pretty well now.

Anyways, I had a few farewells lunches and parties during my last week of work, THEY WERE CELEBRATING MY LEAVING! alright, joking..so here're the pictures, at UPR.

Moved again

I know it's terrible, in 3 years and I've moved 4th time already. The worse thing is that i have tons of things and a normal car is unable to fit in all. Every time i move to a new place, i will need to hire lorry services and at least 2 person to help me.

Last year, i terrified Sim with the amount of things i have and he warned me not to move house in at least a year's time. This year, Jeewei said the same thing, LOL! I can't help it, u can't blame me for having so much things, i don't go home often and i have all my things here in penang with me.

Anyway, packing and unpacking was quite fast and smooth, thats because I've been repeating this so many time already.

Here's a picture of my old place, it was quite warm and dark at times. But i guess the main reason i dislike the place is the neightbourhood, too noisy and messy.

I'm so in love with the windows and the amount of sunlight i get in the day time. It's always very windy, there was one night it was so windy that i slept without the fan and it's still super cold.

I didn't bring in any furnitures but my craft table and the shelf.

I also love the fact that i can doze off in my bed while watching TV.

Penang Bridge Marathon 2010

It was an impulsive decision , i joined Penang Bridge marathon this year simply because of YT told me she can get RM5 discount on the registration. fml..yes, i've been jogging quite often since a few months ago but it wasn't solely for this marathon, because i wanted to slim down that's all..

But, instead of slimming down, i actually gain a bit of weight. All because of Mr. Prawn's fault, he has this appetizing face wan! I tell you, it's miraculous! I am perfectly alright of having yogurt only for dinner if i dont see him, once he comes over to hang out abit , i feel damn freaking super hungry one, and i can't focus on anything buy food in my mind..

anyway, back to my marathon story..

That weekend i was pretty good girl, i didn't go out late at night, slept early and ate healthy. I slept at 10pm the night before and woke up at 430am. The 1st thing I shouted out when i opened my eyes was..

" SHIT!!! it's raining!!!!! how ah? "

YT called, but we decided to try out luck, it's such a waste if we just call it off and go back to bed right?

It was still raining when we reached there, it wasn't bad enough, I totally forgot to bring my running chip (which is used to record my time) !!! at 1st i thought i left it in YM's car, so i made him come back then to realised it was at home, FML big time!

anyway, i didn't bother, not like i'm gonna be in the top 15 or what right? so...yeah..

At 6am, it was still drizzling when the marathon kicked off, but it stopped son after we'd started. The air was breezing and cold, it was a good start :)

It's a dryfit jersey, not bad heh? I was telling YT that it reminds me of the minons from Despicable me, especially when you see from afar while everyone was hopping like beans . Cute to the max !

I'd expected that it'll be a bit tough since i never jogged 10km before, but i was so proud of myself that i finished 10km in 67mins (the official time) and ranked within 350 over 3000 participants (women category only).

I shall try to do better next year :)

Steph's weekend

My weekend was pretty quiet. I didn't want to exhaust myself mainly because I'm preparing for the penang bridge marathon on Sunday morning.

On Friday night, I went Crepe Cottage again, for late dinner and Mango Cup for dessert, sinful meal but who cares, nobody is allow to diet on weekends, it's a sin!

Watched Harry Porter 7 midnight show, premier class somemore! But it was quite disappointing, the plot was slow and too much craps. Anyway, i don't like Harry Porter in general, haha!

Slept at 3am on friday night, but i woke up at 7 something to go jogging with YT, after that, we went to eat my favourite halfboiledegg/toast for breakfast. It was a good start for Saturday!

went home and it was only 10am! i didn't know what to do, because i don't usually wake up so early on saturday....so, i tried to wake Shawn up but failed! that fella is an genuine pig..

waited for him until 4pm before he could bring me to power people mall a.k.a Island plaza for Tutti Fruitti...so terrible right? Then chilled at Sunset Bistro and watched sunset before dinner.

just in case u didn't know, sunset bistro is located by the beach, u can either choose to sit on the deck or on the beach with ur legs buried in the sand...

Monday, I went to the gym

I hit the gym and ran on the treadmill for a freaking 50 minutes (slightly more than 7km)! what an achievement, everyone please applause for me!

I came back to the office after gym to reply some emails and decided to write a short post before heading back home and hibernate for the night.

aiyoooh! i super miss those days where we always hang out during uni time! Jianwen, went to the far far land to pursue his studies. Not gonna see him the next 1-2 years i guess :(

But, I'm gonna see Elaine this coming Thursday!! weeeeee!! she is coming together with liwei and david to rock the island!

and yes!! This is Liwei...i can't wait for Thursday to come!

kenyi, will be leaving to the far far land soon too..awwwwww, i'm gonna miss him a lot!

Deepavali weekend

Long story short, I'm supposed to have a girly trip with YT, Jerine and Gigi to Cameron Highlands for the weekend but I canceled it last minute, because I need to be back to KL for my primary schoolmate's wedding celebration.......

but...

she canceled the party last minute! So, I'm stuck in the island alone!

..okay, not really alone at least Jerine came back on Thursday, and we went to Crepe Cottage in Gurney Drive for dinner.

the crepes/pancakes were super yummilicious, but they serve like tortoise, took them more than half an hour to serve.

on the following day (Friday), YT, yungming and I went back to Crepe Cottage for dinner again, hehe! it was freaking irresistible !

On Saturday, Prawn picked me up for lunch.

he brought me to this place called, Summer Garden..somewhere near..er... i don't know! i was busy talking in the car...:P

He had Caesar salad and I had Katsujyu( Japanese pork rice with egg)

Had english tea because he was having a bit of hangover, muhahaha!!

after then, we went to Island Plaza to check out the newly opened cinema, called, WCineMax . The tix price is slightly more expensive than GSC, RM12 and RM6 for 3D specs rental.

The cinema is awesome, very spacial leg space, good sound system.

before the movie starts, we went to DOME for tea! Prawn had a humongous choc chips cookie.

and i had ice-mocha with terribly loads of whipped cream and a piece of tiramisu. Gosh, soooo much sugar!

it was about 7pm after the movie and since both of us were still quite full, we went to check out this new place call Heritage Coffee who serves not only coffee, but EVERYTHING! including "happy drinks"

I'm thinking to skip dinner since it's already quite late. But i don't know how we ended having BakKutTeh at 9 something at night...

Baby Jasmine in her new hair style

Jasmine hasn't been appearing in my blog for sometime already. Dad recently engaged her to the newly opened grooming saloon near our house and signed her up with their bathing program.

I thought it is a brilliant idea!

Only RM300 for 3 months, and she will be send for basic bathing + a bit of grooming here and there every week. It breaks down to only RM25 per session, not very economical in long run but it saved up a lot of dad's time.

You won't know how much time we need to bath her, properly. She has the thickest coat i've ever seen! By just dry blowing her, I'll need an hour to do so..

Dad claimed that this is call the cocker cut, where the coat on her head, ears and legs is kept long and the rest is short. I can't find her eyes!

Ah, there are they! round, big and ever sparkling!

Tadddaaah!! HAHAHHAA! I find her new look super hilarious. I wonder if she knows we've been laughing at her.

New things in my life

My dark circles are bigger and darker than the dark chocolate now! I've been using eye mask everyday and it didn't help at all, i've promised myself to sleep before 12 everyday but but but...I'm still here blogging at 1am! At least i've tried very hard, i still deserve a gift right??

My trip to Singapore

Sheena and I, along with cousin Bonnie went to Singapore in July to pay a visit to our cousin sisters. It was mainly a shopping trip la, haha!

I didn't buy much, just a dress from Cotton-on. I remember how YT always comes back from the land of lion with luggages fulled of shopping bags and shoes from Charles & Keith! This girl, goes to Singapore like almost every 2 months, grrrr!!

anyway, i met up with Dave who happened to be back from Perth after his 1st round of training as a SIA cadet.

and he treat me dinner..muhahaha! Because i kept complaining that he buys Elaine dinners but not me!

and the souvenir he got for me from Perth, it's a pilot koala, so cute!

later at night, we went to Gelang for frog porridge, quite yummy!

I must confess! I haven't been shopping for a long time! last weekend was Hwei Tyng's wedding, i drove home along with a few friends with me.

I don't mean to buy heels, i seldom wear them anyway, but i went home with a dress for the reception but not heels. So, i accidentally bought 3 pairs of shoes!!!

From Cotton-on : RM39.90 - it was dirt cheap! i always love pale green flats!

From Charles&Keith :RM119.9 - it was love at first sight ok!

From Charles&Keith : RM139.90 - i love this pumps, but i regretted a little now, it's a bit loose and i was desperate so i bought it!

From Vincci : RM49.90 - i bought it a couple of weeks ago, but haven't worn it yet, cute right?

Sunburn ,of course!

I have really bad sunburn on both my shoulders because I wore a shorts and spaghetti strips and cycling under the afternoon sun.

It was freaking painful ok! and i totolly forgot that I have a wedding reception to attend this coming weekend and I happily sunburned myself..

I need to wear a tube dress for that..now i will have an invisible bra strips *cry*
the last time i had a sunburn was when I went skiing in Korea, it was on my face because i wrapped myself with super thick jackets but the face. I stayed home for days because i looked like an old lady.

Aiken (feet) - Nivea whitening (arms & back) - Aloevera (shoulders) - skinfood handbutter (palms) - Avene spring water ( shoulder & arms & face)

These are my daily treatments, I feel like I'm already soaking myself into lotions and it still didn't help much, my shoulders are still painful.

Hui and Liwei are still fair and pretty because they didn't cycle under the hot burning sun from Cenang beach to airport and then from airport back to Cenang beach..

now, who's stupid idea was that? Sim loh!!

anyway, though it was stupid and I had a price to pay, it was an experience that I will never forget, it was quite fun ..

If there's Gennie in the bottle, I wish I will never have the feeling of missing someone, it's terrible. It's even worst when you're missing her badly but you can't tell her. And only if i can cry myself to bed every night, I won't feel this bad, but I am so numb that I am not sad neither can i cry, I am just missing her badly.

I almost threw my Macbook out of my window yesterday night while i was trying to edit videos. I still love my Macbook alot, simply because she is in pearl white colour and still very sleek looking, I was with her for years and Im getting to realised that she is getting old and freaking slow!

When i tried to fully utilized her, she decided to not respond to me most of the time or responded on the next day. Syndrome for Alzheimer?

Meow meow city -Kuching

It wasn't my 1st time visiting Kuching, i was there for Rain Forest Music festival a few years back, but we didn't walked around the town much because we didn't have enough time. Anyway, I went back to Kuching again for a friend's wedding, Waifun, and spent 2 good days there with a few girlfriends.

Waifun's wedding was a blast, did i mentioned that i was the emcee for the night. Okay, not exactly emcee but more like, the a person who stood at the side, holding a script, reading it out, thats all! But it was scary, i have stage fright and i didn't know how i managed to pull through.

So, her wedding story aside, i havent gotten all the pictures yet.

Saturday was her wedding day, and we had Sunday to ourselve to explore meow meow city. Morning, we couldn't get up for early breakfast, because we slept so late the night before, so we had brunch instead in a small tiny old shop located somewhere very remote which i don't know how to describe, but thier kolok mee is superb!!!!

After that, we lingered along waterfront..

where i spotted this amazing cowboy hat...i didn't buy because i look horrendous in it. It's very cheap, only RM10!

While waiting for WF to come, we started cam whoring. Sue was half dead after a long walk !

If you're close to me, i bet you'll know that i'm pretty busy lately, esepcially for weddings. I couldn't believe that I have 5 weddings to attend in just 2 months...and more to come! These weddings are close friends and cousin's of mine :)

WF is getting married, or i shall say, got married last weekend in Ipoh..but she'll have another official wedding ceromony in Kuching this coming weekend. Therefore me and a few colleagues will be in the city of cat to give her a hand.

WF wanted something special for her bridemaid's corsage, so we had a crafty night making these corsages, love the result though it's my 1st attempt.

This post came in so late!! Easter has passed and I've spent my Easter Sunday dozing away in my bed. I was so exhausted for that past 1 week..

Only if Penang has Easter Parade, I would definitely go..simply because I love bunnies and eggs.
I'm not sure why they relate Easter day with bunnies and eggs, like why Santa and Christmas tree for Christmas? Funny right?

I got the white bunny from the store and sew a blue ribbon felt bow for her. Oh, did i mentioned that the bunny can vibrates, muhaha!

YT went to Macau/HK with ym for a romantic getaway *jealous* and she got me a uber cute Mickey charmed bracelet from Disneyland.

Speaking about this "hang fuk" girl, she have found her soul-mate and happily engaged now, I'm soooooo happy for her! I didn't buy her a 1 carat diamond, i made her one instead :)

There has been a major changed in my life here in Penang, definitely not something to do with my career, because I'm still with my very 1st company. Ever since the major change, it affected my appetite and lifestyle as well :(

In the month of March, I wasn't eating a lot, there were times I didn't anything for the day and I didn't feel hungry at all. Put it in comparison, the amount of food I'd consumed for that month is lesser that an average person in a week.

Result? I lose 6KG in a month! ....and still loosing now.

I'm picking up the pieces and doing pretty well i would say, I'm standing up again because of the loves and care from family and good friends.

I know I've slimmed down quite a bit when I've noticed that my clothes are too baggy for me. Pictures were taken in January 2010 during Joanne's wedding and April 2010 during wuikeat's wedding.

I wouldn't say I'm completely recovered from what had happened, sometimes I find myself emotionally drained and sleeping is my only remedy.

All these are part of life's process, and I'm pretty sure that everyone has to go through them in order to grow up and be responsible for ourselves.

They said, people don't change. YES! it's true that people don't change, I am still the same old Steph you'd used to know, bubbly and cheerful, but my perception towards things has changed. I've learned to see things beyond the surface.

My life has been quite a drama lately. So many things had happened, good and bad ones, so much events had took place and I really don't know where to start!

Lets start with Wui keat's wedding.

I took a trip back home specially for his wedding, because he has been a really good friend to me,haven known him since Form 2 i guess, I'm really happy that he found his soul mate and happily married.

Going to his wedding reception was more like a high school mates reunion to me, I haven't been seeing anyone of them for such a long time!

Sow Hoon dear, I've known her since donkey years ago and we are best pal ever since. She is one of my Starbucks mate :)

Yvonne Yee Hui, she was my roomie since uni 1st and 2nd year, time flies!! she's a mom already, can you believe that?

It has been awhile since the trip, i haven't gotten those pictures until now *blekx*. One day Tze asked if i wanna tag along to penang day trip with his friend, Mei Yuen and Kelvin, since i have nothing to do, i tagged along and it was a fun one!

He brought us to the Nyonya mansion..don't ask me what name is it and where is it, I wasn't the one driving and i don't know! *steph has the worse sense of direction ever!*

Afternoon, we lingered in Gurney for awhile before she decided to go back hotel to rest. Tze and I had nothing to do since my house is kinda far to go back, we went for foot massage!

Oh boy, it was sooooooo painful !! almost cry dee, but I've found a way to reduce the pain, that is keep talking! I kept talking non stop for one hour and it helped, i was trying to hypnotized myself that IT'S NOT PAINFUL!

anyway, we had Nyonya food for dinner later before headed to Monkey bar. Thats when the drama happened!

Mei Yuen got a bit light and she kept saying that her ass is itchy. she's molesting the bars!

they're so cute! Kelvin looks like crayon sin chan..hahahaha!!!!

Ok, thats about it! We met up for Kayu lunch on the next day before they headed back to KL :)

I'm busy because I have a super messy room, I havent seen such messy room before, it's messier than when I 1st moved in...

everyday, i'll tell myself that my room need a spring cleaning and everyday i didn't do it! alll because of my *devilish* friends, who asked me to shopping, go supper...keke!

Anyway, back to Joanne's wedding reception at Evergreen Laurel Hotel, PENANG. It was a blast, to be honest, i think the hall has too many pillars, i don't even know where is the stage!

Do you know why I hate being alone, in the room, in the house or in the office?

Loneliness always reminds me of mommy, how she hugged me to bed when I was smaller, how she made milk for me every morning and forced me to drink, you know, I always had her around, and I blamed myself for not appreciating it until she'd gone now.

Life's have been tough last year, if you were to asked if 2009 was a great year to me, i would say NOPE! But I'm glad and proud of myself that i've pulled through and made a few wonderful friends, YT and Jerine :)

Lets see..

In the 1st half of 2009, my company filed bankruptcy protection and went through a major retrenchments, TWICE! It was a torture to me and everybody, because if I am affected I'll be sad, or else my colleagues will be affected, both ways, I'll be sad and I was sad. Nevertheless, I stayed back and that's by God's grace!

Grandma was admitted to hospital and went through a major surgery, i was dead worried! She was tough, tougher than I've expected, she pulled through and on her way to full recovery now!

Had some issues with family that had made me cry every time my dad talked to me. But I don't want to reveal this one, anyhow, the problem resolved and Dad, Sheena and I are closer to each other now.

It has been 5 years now and I still wish mommy is here, but I know for sure, she is in a better place, but i just miss her so much!

Ok,I'm gonna talk serious, don't mess up with Steph, I bite!

I was chatting with YT on MSN and i don't know how we got into comparing pictures of our old times. Which led us to a conclusion, WE ARE FATTER NOW!

I was once slimmer ( i wouldn't say i'm slim, because i was/am never slim, my shape is rather curvy), so, I'm determined to slim down before CNY!

This picture was taken 4 years back, though I've gradually grew bigger, but I'm gonna make myself back to this shape!

TO DO LIST :

1. Shut my mouth after 8pm- so don't call me out for supper, I will bite you
2. Start doing yoga with YT once a week
3. Hit the gym 3 times a week and make sure i'll stay at least an hour - I have buddy with me
4. Going joggin with YT once a week - this is a promise from me to her, she is doing the same for me for Yoga.
5. Cut down on oily and high cabs food -Ex. fast food and white rice
6. Sleep early!

Happy 50th birthday, Lao Char Boh

We had a pre birthday celebration with YT earlier and will blog about that later. Last saturday, YT and i went for the 12 hours walkathon, but we didn't walk 12 hours la, my legs will break!

Anyhow, I managed to walked 16 km in 3.5 hours, amazing record for myself though i walked like a crab on the next day. The worse thing is that i still have a 8 hours training on the next day and the lift was off!!!! disaster!

After the walk, Pete and Jerine came and meet us for supper, and we suprised her with a birthday cake!

YT is showing the piggy face because she blamed me for she can't dress up for celebration.

Still not happy with it, because the cake was written, " HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LAO CHAR BOH"
(traslated as happy birthday, old lady), and we gave her 5 huge candles.

Both of us were so sweaty and smelly. Yt wanted to stab me with the plastic knife, can she be smarter, she can't kill me with that, i'm made of Gold. stab Jerine please, she's made of tofu.

I always thought SLR is cool, but a point and shoot camera is very very important too. You can't be bringing your SLR everywhere you go right?

I ditched Pete's Canon Powershot because there's problem with the memory card slot , and bought myself a new Lumix for Christmas.

Christmas Party in the office

Every year, PDC will held fund raising to collect RM1200 to sponsor a child from CPS (Child Protection Society) in penang. We raised RM4400++ this year by selling gifts and donations from fellow colleagues, i don't remember the exact amount but it was 3-4 times more than last year.

Since the launching of Get Hooked*, and the business for Christmas was really good, so i thought i should repay some good deeds, I volunteered to sponsor Get Hooked* Snowman series and all the sales went to the fund. Because these keychains are made to order, the committee members helped me to jot down all orders when i was away to Batu Pahat for a week.

Crappy yet lovely people, it's truly fun working with them, they're full of craps!

Weekend was fun! I went to Botanical Garden with the girls to do something fun, its Jerine's new project, she called it Happy Weekend.

Got up early to pick up Jerine and Calvin, then YT and YM, oh, and YT's new boyfriend Puffy the pink hippo.

YT and her new boyfriend, Puffy. Puffy is a gift from me to her for Christmas, technically, i gave her a new boyfriend...

Short trip to Melacca

If you have been following my Twitter, you should know that I’ve been twittering about going to Singapore with my dad and Sheena. Unfortunately, the plan was canceled last minute because of the death of my cousin in Johor, Kluang.

Instead of heading to Singapore, we went to Johor for the funeral. Then we stopped by Melacca for a short trip.

Most of the hotels were fully booked but we manage to get a room in City Bay View hotel. Overall was good but the receptionists at the counter are bad! When we called up to inquire about the internet rate, she asked us to buy a drink from the café and use the WIFI from there. We explained that we wanted to use it in the room and she don’t seems to understand, really stupid!

Went to Portuguese Settlement for dinner but the food was average only, nothing special. What really amazed me were the houses in the settlement, they practically lit up the house with neon lights!! Next day, we had breakfast at Donald & Lily’s for nyonya food, and it was also average also! I remember it was really good when I was studying in MMU, melaka about 7 years ago.

Ps : I’m on way back to Penang now and blogging from bus again, traveling with Aeroline was always very pleasant and comfortable, but this group of Russians had to spoilt my journey. They talked and laughed so loud that I still heard them even with my music blasting through my earphones. That’s not all, they played with the bus radio and started singing Russian Christmas songs and they had no idea how loud was it! That aside, the boy and his mum sitting right next to me, have been eating non-stop through out the journey, and I have no idea where they got their Maggie hot bowls!

I'm having a really long break, er...not that long, but one week is good! I really need a good rest after being such a busy bee preparing for Christmas since the beginning of November.

I love my home, love Jasmine, love my dad and Sheena, love Pete and my green tortoises, I love year 2009, it was a great year for me. Was it a great year for you too?

Peter's Birthday surprise at Hard Rock Cafe

YT and I have been preparing for Pete's big day since months ago, our initial plan was to surprise him with a birthday party at home, but decided otherwise because Hard Rock Cafe is way cooler!

Jerine joined us with the preparation. On Christmas day, we went to Queens Bay Mall (aka kooibehmoh) to shop for dresses for the night and headed to YT's to customized/DIY our party hats.

We'd made a hat specially for the birthday boy with his name on it and ornaments.

After everything was done, we drove to Hard Rock Hotel to put down the birthday cake and the party hats because we didn't want Pete to know, it was a surprise! He thought it was just a christmas dinner.

Hard Rock Hotel is about 30 mins drive from Yt's but we took almost 2 hours to reach, because of the stupid car accident, there was a terrible jam along Bt. Ferringhi !!! All three of us were dead hungry by the time everything was done, we'd gone mad in the car and were super grampy.

YT complained i'm driving like a snail, but I'm driving Kambla and i never drove in Balik Pulau before!! Jerine and YT were shouting and scolding everyone on the road, mad style indeed!

So yeah, was suppose to be home before 5pm, but we reached home at 6 something and had to be ready in an hour's time!

Jerine convinced me to buy this, she said every girl should have a pair of red shoes, it's an investment, haha! Do you have a pair?!

He was forced to wear the party hat whole night.

Jerine wasn't happy because she don't have her name on her hat.

YT was really happy with her balloon. One balloon can buy her up already, so easy!

Now she wants my balloon pulak!

Happy Birthday and may all your dreams come true! I hope you like the cake, it was a gift from YT and Jerine. Oh, not forgetting your PS3 partner + boyfriend ,YM, he bought you a SouthPark DVD very much earlier.

Starbucks for Christmas

I am a coffee maniac , especially for Starbucks, I love hanging out with friends at Starbucks and I love their coffee so much that I am addicted to it! Only if my company has Starbucks, Nescafe will never be in my list.

This year, I dragged YT and YM to have Starbucks with me and she's now addicted to its Greentea. I'm evil am i? I also bought a few things from Starbucks for Christmas.

A pair of mugs, 2 limited edition Starbucks ornaments, and my favourite Starbucks 2010 organizer.

I bought these mugs for Pete for Christmas.

Year 2009 Christmas Countdown

I’ve had a splendid night out with my buddies on Christmas eve, oh gosh, you don’t know how much I miss those ever so cheerful laughter and stupid jokes and gossips. I wish we could have Christmas dinner everyday!

Dinner was at 8pm but Pete and I reached at 9pm because I wasn’t feeling too well, and I really hate it! Why did my stomach chose to be unwell on Christmas eve night!?!?! Also for some reason, my head was spinning, so I barely eaten anything that night, it’s a buffet but I’ve only eaten 2 lettuces and 2 slices of beef with 2 glasses of orange juice.

Except for my stupid stomach, we had fun having gifts exchange.

I've been telling everybody that Penang + Pete is evil, because they're the main culprit to my growing weight! For the past 10 years, my weight has been very consistent, never 1KG more neither 1KG less, but I've gain 6KG in 2 years since I've moved to Penang.

6KG in 2 years is very scary !! Imagine, if i gain that amount of weight in 2 years, then after 20 years, I'll be 60KG extra!

I never had a weighing scale at home, because i can't find a reason why i should have one, now i think i really need one!

Here's the proof of my weight, no, i don't mind telling the world of my weight, because I just don't mind la, Don't ask so much!

..and only 164cm in height, still Ok! but it won't be ok after 20 years, i'll be 116KG!

there's a few reasons to my growing weight,

1. Suppers

2. lack of daily exercise. Everyday sit in the office and never move an inch for 8 hours, sure fat la !

3. lack of sleep and stressful. Makes me eat more.

From today's onwards, please don't call up Steph for supper, I will not entertain, unless special circumstances.

I'm blogging from Batu Pahat, love this town, lots of greenies and wonderful people! I know I've been so busy with work and Get Hooked's orders, and this little get away trip back to Pete's hometown has given me a chance for good rest before heading back to the busy Penang again!

Since i have so much time now, I shall share picture of Jasmine from my last trip back home.

Now you believe that she's a poser or not! I don't have to do anything, as long as i have my camera on, she'll have different poses at different time. When friends told me it's hard to photograph doggies, I don't have any problem with Jasmine, she loves the camera , and sometimes she licks my lens....arrgghhhg!!

She permed her hair...I'm joking, she has natural curly coat but only in her head. When we see she started to look like my aunt's hairstyle, we know it's time for grooming.

I dreamt for a DLSR for years..

..and my dream comes true!

This is my biggest birthday pressie!

It's so big and heavy, so i named it Donkey.

Me and my pressie...oh, my face is so pale! That's because I've been sleeping for less than 4 hours everyday for the past few weeks.

I am so excited and I can't sleep at night! Been toying around with it, but the pictures turned out to be worse than my LUMIX. I need to get a" SLR for Dummies" , i wonder if they have it in the bookstore ....mmmm...mmm...

Thank you dear Pete for the best birthday pressie ever (aside from those daddy gave me).

1. my eye bags are biggest now for the past 25 years.
2.spent RM700 for facial n products to fix my eyebags n dark circles, but it's not working, damn it!
3. I slept less than 4 hours daily since beginning of November.
4. Going for a road trip down to Batu Pahat next week.

I always get really busy when Christmas is near, and also because I have a few wedding invitations at different states..phew! In addition with the over whelming orders from GetHooked* , I have so little time for myself, which i hate it. But....I've earned some extras to pamper myself this Christmas.

Bought myself a hairband with huge satin purple flower from Forever 21 and love it!But, the only thing is when i wear it, it became like this! NOT what i imagine it would be!

So i glued it a bit here and there,

Sheena and I went to the Coach at Gardens last weekend to shop for her birthday pressie. We went crazy when we realized there was a sales and it was a big one! Ok, i was exaggerating, i'm not a huge fan for Coach and i never went into a Coach shop before.

I bought myself an early Christmas pressie from Coach, it's violet and I'm crazy for purple. I just couldn't resist, the bag was begging me to bring her home, so i took her home loooh!

It's a sling bag! so pretty! I bought one for myself, another one for Sheena but in dark brown instead.
