Casual trip to Singapore -Day 4 (last day)

The most thing i love about this trip is of course spending quality time fighting with GOM, we argued almost everyday but we brushed it off pretty fast. hehe!

I guess the main reason was because both of us were frustrated with the weather, it was drizzling on and off, as well as the fact that we need to walked so much in the horrible heat and damp temperature. I never said that Penang wasn't like this, it's exactly the same but we don't need to walked to a MRT station or outside on the street just to get across to another mall.

In a nut shell, we are spoilt with the convenience of driving from one place to another.Due to that, we spent >$200 on cab fares during this 4 days3nights trip to Singapore. How sad that can be? I could have spent that amount of money getting myself tones of clothes n shoes.

Anyway...despite the bad weather, one thing i love most is the hotel(Value Thomson Hotel) we stayed in. It was clean, front desk were helpful and relatively cheaper than a lot of hotels. They didn't charge us anything for breaking its soap dish , and the best thing is they keep your luggage even after you've check out.
I mean, of course a lot of hotels provide service like this, but for a hotel that charged only about SGD$150 per night, i couldn't asked for more.

Hence, we kept our luggage at the hotel on the last day since our flight was at 10pm. Then we took the cab and fled to Ion mall for lunch.

The bill summed up to be >SGD$60. i guess we spent our money mostly on food, drinks and taxi fares. This why you shouldn't earn RM and spend SGD..hehe!

GOM has been texting, emailing non stop through out the trip

On our last day, the weather favoured us! it was gloomy but never rain , and windy too! We enjoyed walking along Orchard that day, our mood was superb. In addition with lots of sales everywhere, i managed to get a few things from Forever 21 and H&M.

GOM has been very patient to me, he usually can't take it if i spend more than an hour in a store but he patiently waited for me at a coffee house right outside H&M.

I did a last minute shopping and got myself a body butter from here.

I would say Singapore is a beautiful country, clean and efficient. But i guess, both of us has a different mindset for holiday destinations, we prefer somewhere less hotter and less hectic, Singapore is just another typical big city.
